Michelle Malkin has a nice expose on her blog about the unpatriotic policies of my school, The University of Oregon. It makes me sick on daily basis just waking up and coming to this hell hole, but it's what I have to do to get that piece of paper that says I am worthy of a decent job.
Neutrality on political issues? Are they serious? You can linger in the law school and find fliers for school-sponsored symposiums denouncing the Iraq-war, calling the President a war-criminal and human-rights-violator, calling American environmental policies global-killers... but try saying publicly that you are opposed to gay marriage, and all hell breaks loose.
This place is a cancer. The very air here is venom. But where else is a person supposed to go in order to earn a J.D.? It's not like there are any magical universities out there where a conservative student feels welcome.
All I can do is survive each day, walk away with a J.D., go make money in the real world, and support groups like Students for Academic Freedom.

I'm so pissed about this I'm sending a letter to the University President and Provost right now. I'm guessing at an email address for you to send you a blind copy, since I cited your example above (I didn't give your name) in the letter. Please email me if you don't get an email about this and you want it sent to you!

It's really awful. Just grit your teeth and pass the exams and get on with it.
Law school is generally ghastly on one front or another. Don't try to take on these battles. They'll defeat themselves eventually.
