Today is October 1, 2005. This marks one year of Resistance is futile!
What has developed over the course of a year?
Over 128,000 hits.
Over 1,000 comments.
The development of the Carnival of Cordite.
Links from Michelle Malkin and Instapundit.
Being sent free books from publishers.
Getting asked for a consultation with a canditate for Governor.
Being asked to speak about blogging in front of the Republican Assembly.
Having prominent political figures I've never met before recognize me from the website.
Wow. It's a little overwhelming, now that I think about it...
The one sad thing: the person who got me interested in blogging, my very own fairy blogmother, isn't blogging anymore. We haven't heard a peep from Rachel Lucas in ages. I hope she is having as much success in real life as she had in the blogosphere. Rachel, if you are reading this, thank you for everything.
And thanks to all you readers for helping to make it all happen.

Happy Blogiversary, Gully!
