Four years ago today, America was attacked by terrorists. Over 3,000 people killed in one morning. I wanted to make a post honoring the victims, honoring the sacrifices, honoring the heroes, honoring the President, and honoring the military effort that has prevented a subsequent attack on American soil.
I'm not going to do that.
Not because any of what I mentioned isn't worthy. On the contrary. Everyone from President Bush, to the members of the NYC fire and police departments, to the military men and women, to the millions of Americans who have given their time, their money, and even their loved ones, deserve our respect and admiration.
That is why I am writing about something different.
When I set out to write something, the first thing I wanted to do was find some good resources on the internet. I wanted to find pictures of the Twin Towers. I wanted to find pictures of Ground Zero. I wanted to find interviews with victims. I wanted to find information about the President and his response.
So I went to Google and typed in 9/11.
What was the number one search result?
I wanted to vomit. How dare that vile disgusting subhuman filth usurp top billing on the largest database for 9/11 searches?
A nation attacked, 3,000 dead, the Pentagon in flames, the center of international commerce destroyed, the President rising to the challenge, Afghanistan liberated from the Taliban, Iraq liberated from Saddam Hussein, 50 million people freed and living in democracies and voting for the first time, and the terror battlefield moved away from New York and Washington, back to the far away deserts that spawn such hatred... and Michael Moore is the first search result you find when you type 9/11 into Google.
What kind of a nation do we live in when such a hate-filled charlatan can steal the limelight?
Michael Moore is the enemy. Michael Moore is part of the problem we face. Michael Moore has done more to damage America than Osama Bin Laden could ever hope.
Michael Moore made over $100 million from his asinine "documentary" about 9/11. What good has he done with it?
Has Michael Moore rebuilt any of the damage?
Has Michael Moore brought back any of the dead?
Has Michael Moore made America safer?
Has Michael Moore helped our troops?
Did Michael Moore help the families of the lost firemen in New York?
Did Michael Moore give blood?
Did Michael Moore donate to the Red Cross or the Salvation Army?
What the hell has that arrogant bastard done to deserve his number-one status on the search engine?
I hope that years from now, when our children's children are doing their history reports on 9/11, their searches for information take them anywhere but Michael Moore. Unless they are searching for "America's terrorist enemies within." In that case, let Michael Moore be the number one hit.
I walked out on Michael Moore once before, I'd be willing to do it again.

Pick a different result for 9/11, place a link to it on your website, and tell others to do the same. I participated in a previous campaign to make sure that searches for "Roe v Wade" pointed to the actual decision rather than an anti-RvW website.
This looks like a good one: http://www.911digitalarchive.org/

Well, let's see ... why on earth would Google show Michael Moore as the number one hit when searching for info on 9/11? Hmmmm ... couldn't part of the reason be that Google supports "its own"? If you go to BuyBlue.org (http://www.buyblue.org/directory/g) You can see that they have a very "blue" company. To check them out further, you can go to their company-specific page (http://www.buyblue.org/node/1053/view/summary)and see that their political contributions are "100% blue". Any questions?
This is one reason that I resent "having to" go to Google to get comprehensive search results, especially when the result I'm looking for is about a political issue. I *know* I can't fully trust the search results I'll get. Anyone know of a better search engine??

Oops! Forgot to check my spacing before I posted and left out the space between the last link and my text ... the correct link for the company-specific page for Google at BuyBlue.org is http://www.buyblue.org/node/1053/view/summary

I continue to use Google only because every time I use it, it sucks up some of their bandwidth and costs them money. Just make sure you never click on a Google Ad, as that's how they make money.

True ... never have ... *never* will ...

Michael Moore is a PATRIOT and HERO. "President" Bu$h should be impeaced, arrested, tried, convicted, and executed for his crimes against America and the World.

Here we see the primary difference between left and right:
The right wants Michael Moore exposed for the fraud that he is.
The left wants PRESIDENT Bush DEAD.
And yet the left is usually the same group that absolutely opposes the death penalty...

And the post above by "a real American" is the reason why I'd like to institute mandatory testing for use of the internet.
He'd fail miserably. Of course, He's from Democratic Underground, which explains his fascination for using dollar signs instead of S's.

Michael Moore is a Bush-hater and that is all, he cares NOTHING of the truth about 9/11. September 11 was a sad day for this country. Thousands of innocent lives taken. That day exposed corruption and evil in some of the highest levels of our government as a pretext for military expansion, lucrative defense contracts, and a total control police state with the constitution and bill of rights already on deathrow.
If you want to explore the facts that are hidden in plain view and not even MENTIONED by mainstream media, I encourage you to explore some websites who have done a massive truth movement into 9/11. This might surprise you if the only news you watch is CNN and FOX..

To view a trailer of the latest in-depth 9/11 documentary by Alex Jones:
http://infowars.com/video/previews/martial_law/trailer_new_wm.htm
Alex Jones is an award-winning documentary film-maker and nationally syndicated radio TalkShow and television host based in Austin, Texas. His views are non-partisan, he is not democrat or republican but a Constitutionalist and has done extensive research over the past 10 years on political science and is keen on freedom, liberty, constitution and the bill of rights which many Americans are unfortunately ignorant of. His information is backed up with declassified government documents, white papers, and news reports both foriegn and domestic.
Alex Jones also encourages copying of his documentary films (13 he's made so far) and you can search for them and legally download them of file sharing networks like kazaa and edonkey.
I honestly believe the 'globalist nwo military industrial complex' will detonate a nuke in a major U.S. city and blame it on 'terrorists' of course, and mislead Americans will BEG the government for a Police State for their "safety." I can see them setting this all up. Just like the Germans were begging for martial law under Hitler for their "saftey".

Google claims that their results derive totally from the frequency of words and links in the Internet. I have never heard anyone claim that they modify the results to favor anyone.
I suspect the reason that very few searches for "9/11" turn up any hits is because that term is stupid. When Americans refer to dates, we don't user numerals, we say the month and the day (Fourth of july, September 11th, etc.) Search for "September 11" and you will not see Michael Moore anywhere.
Google tells you how to get your site rated highly...have a lot of links to it. Google-bombing works!

It would be nice to remember 911 victims by actually having an investigation of what happened before, during, and after the events of that day. So far, the Feds have covered everything up, promoted people who obviously failed us, and tripled the budget of everything, even if the department has nothing to do with security. So far, President Bush is going to go down in history as having expanded the Federal Government far more than any other President, including FDR or LBJ.
If we ever get someone like Hillary in charge, all these new laws and budgets will be aimed at gun owners, home schoolers, or the just plain politically incorrect. It would make the Bill Clinton years seem like paradise on earth.

It never fails to amaze how people *actually* believe that a government that is IN POWER would do something like set up 9/11 or nuke an American city and "blame" it on "terrorists" in order to... get power. Umm... if you have the power to do such a thing, then why do you need to do it in order to get power?
I think such conspiracies are ACTUALLY sneakily perpetrated by the Reynolds corportation in order to drive sales of foil.

And of course you never saw the movie.
How much money did you give, how many dead people did you bring back, how many lies and blunders of the administration did you expose which will hopefully help to prevent something like this again.
Have you been sent to some kind of concentration, or re-education camp? Since when was someone exercising their free speech and exposing mistakes by the administration a terrorist activity? Hopefully, in the future, our children will never stumble upon this blog and realize that there were actually people out there who wanted to suppress the truth about 9/11.
Since you are an expert on the movie I would like to see a list of all the "lies" in it.
My email address is above and I will post your response on my website, so everyone can see what a liar Michael Moore is.
Put up or shut up!

Oh goodie, Toad has finally croaked here! I must really be important now!
And no, Toad. This is MY blog and we play by MY rules. You write whatever you want under your rock. I don't care because you are irrelevant. Why are you irrelevant? Because you storm in here making charges against me when the burden of proof is on YOU. If YOU want to barge in where you aren't wanted and start flinging mud, then YOU do the "put up or shut up."
YOU prove to ME that Michael Moore is right and I am wrong.
YOU post your answer HERE. I'll never bother e-mailing you because I have no assurance that you will post my originial e-mail without editing it out of context. I've dealt with too many of you lefties who practice Michael Moore-like editing to piece together the answer they want it to "say."
