What the Left is thinking

Well, my fellow Progressives, our worst fear has been realized: Judge Alito has passed the Senate by a vote of 58-42.  That's 58 votes against our freedom!

You now have until 6 PM EST to get your abortions; after that, the forced impregnations will begin.  All people of color must now return to the back of the bus.  All gays, lesbians, and transgenders will be declared "enemy combatants" in the so-called President's War on Terror.  All your phone calls and e-mails will now be personally scrutinized by the jack-booted thugs of the NSA.  All the political prisoners illegally held in Gitmo will be executed at dawn.  The President will invade Iran, Syria, North Korea, and Vermont.  The First Amendment will be repealed.  The EPA will be abolished and "big oil" will commence drilling in ANWR, Yellowstone, the Everglades, and Central Park.  Every Redwood tree will be cut down.  All Muslims, Hindus, Pagans, Wiccans, and Atheists will be sent to Bible camps.  Jews will be, too, unless they are neo-cons.  Health care, living wages, and weekends off will be a thing of the past.  Justice Alito will kick your dog.  Life as we know it will cease to be!

No, wait.  There are still 5 other Justices on the Supreme Court who are likely to rule against the Alito-Roberts-Scalia-Thomas juggernaut.

Never mind (but still donate heavily to liberal candidates, or it will all come to pass--someday!)
