Hello again and welcome to Carnival of Cordite #46. As I type this, I am highly distracted by an unrelated project that is eating up all my free time (and parts of my soul!), so we must return to the link-fest format this week. I apologize upfront for the lack of additional commentary or excerpts. And because I am so swamped, before we begin, I am going to issue a fresh call for some guest hosts to fill in occasionally, possibly even next week if we can work it out in time. I expect a lot of you will be anxious, so I must narrow down the playing field somewhat. So here goes:
If you meet the following criteria and would like to guest host sometime in the coming weeks, please e-mail the carnival address (carnivalofcordite at hotmail dot com):
1) You must have had your work featured in at least 3 previous Carnival of Cordite issues,
2) You must have previously hosted at least one previous popular blog Carnival (preference to those who have hosted the Carnival of Cordite, but I will also consider people who have hosted things like the Carnival of the Vanities, the Carnival of Recipes, etc.),
3) You must have had an average of at least 1,000 blog visits per week to your site over the last several weeks, and,
4) You must be ready to commit enough time to produce a full-featured carnival, with plenty of commentary and excerpts (otherwise, I may as well be doing just another link-fest like this one myself).
If you don't meet the criteria this time, don't give up. I may need many guest hosts down the road, and I will certainly consider you then even if you don't pass the test today.
Please include in your e-mail a link to the carnival(s) you have hosted before so I can see your work. If well-qualified entries come in over the weekend, I may be able to start scheduling some guest hosts as soon as early next week.

Does anyone have a link to a list of the guns used by TV Cowboys?
This has proven more elusive via Google than you might think.
Horse names, characters, plot summaries ...

Thought you might like my latest missive on how good it feels to exercise
the freedom to defend the self and carry defensive weapons when you come
from a place that prevents you from doing so...
Also, interested in guest hosting as I think it would help drive attention
to the CCW fight here in MD. I know I don't make the current
qualifications, but perhaps down the road...
Thanks!
