Well, it's amazing how informative the members of the Atkinson Bloggers are.  For instance, just this morning, NW Republican taught me that Ron Saxton, Mr. "I am Really a Conservative" Candidate, was once the chair of OSPIRG.  Well then...

jeez, all the other candidates are "career politicians". Like, ok, not all the other candidates are ex-democrats. I offer an example, Jason Atkinson isn't (an ex-democrat).
On the real side, if Mr. Saxton is such an exemplary candidate, why are the Portland Public Schools (that he chaired) so f**ked up??? Fiscal responsibility? Spending beyond their means? So top-heavy with administration that kids suffer.

Every candidate for Governor is a career politician - except Ron Saxton.

Though hardly from lack of effort on his part; people just won't elect him as dogcatcher, let alone to higher office. He's like a rat on an exercise wheel. He keeps running and running, but never actually gets anywhere.
