Back in 2004, when Dan Rather humiliated himself and his network with the bogus forged documents story, I remember saying at the time there was only one thing CBS could do to have even less credibility.
And then they went and did it.

Is Katie waving bye bye to the network that made her famous? Or is she waving bye bye to any shred of journalistic integrity still remaining at CBS?
You be the judge.
Yoinks! I followed that Katie link in your post -- damn, those people have a lot of free time, and a lot of animosity towards Ms. Perky!

I hate perky. Perky must die.

I think that, after a few weeks of Perky, the average CBS News viewer will long for the days when "The Dan" had intelligent things to say. Like "what is the frequency," and "if a frog had a sidepocket, he'd keep a handgun in there."

Courage, Katie. Courage.
