Fighting the relentless crusade for common-sense conservatism: Life, Liberty, Property, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Live, from the liberal left coast... You will be assimilated!
It's amazing what kinds of stuff you can get over the internet. For instance, this letter sent out along with a copy of this official complaint form and attached exhibit.
Uh Gully, if you look at a bunch of other judges running for reelection a lot of them list their campaign addresses as their various courthouses.
Do some research next time instead of believing BS right-wing spin.

So... you are telling us that other judges are also breaking the law, also violating rules of legal ethics, and so we should look the other way on Lipscomb?
Lots of Congressmen get bought off by lobbyists. Should we not care about Jack Abramof then?
Of course, were this a conservative judge guilty of something like not tipping the waitress at Denny's, the left would be all over him.

Nah, I am suggesing now laws are in fact being violated. Everyone does this and it has been tested before. If all you have is that he did this thing, the complaint will be tossed out real quick. If you do have evidence he used public facilities to campaign, that WOULD be a clear violation though. However, you have no clear evidence of such as of yet.

Actually "Bob", there is a reason why state legislators do not list their capitol offices on their campaign committee forms.
BECAUSE IT IS ILLEGAL!
Why is it illegal - it is called MISAPPROPRIATION OF FUNDS!
Exact same thing as is happening here.
Plus, Lipscomb had the courthouse as his campaign's mailing address for 14 years. You expect us to believe that in 14 years he never received ONE piece of campaign mail at the courthouse?
Please, the Secretary of State sends out three notices a year to every campaign committee alone.
Lipscomb is toast!

Judge Lipscomb's residential address "is" the courthouse and his voter registration is also there. This happened several years ago at the request of the Marion County Sheriff after he received death threats from several whackos, who had access to his home address through public records, such as DMV and the Sec. of State. It was approved by the Postal Service and State Court Administrator's office for several judges who needed police protection.
