I preferred Day Before Midnight, but there was definitely some good stuff in Point of Impact. I just never could grow to like Swagger.

I really enjoyed Point of Impact. The problem I had was with the several sequels, that kept changing the story line. As a series, the Swagger books are way too inconsistent and preposterous. As a stand-alone book, Point of Impact totally kicks ass!

My favorite Stephen Hunter was Time to Hunt. For another author with a similar style / theme check out Lee Child. Lee's latest, Hard Way is a really good read, too.
