Ann Coulter couldn't have picked a better day to release her latest book, Godless: The Church of Liberalism.

From the opening paragraph:
Of course liberalism is a religion. It has its own cosmology, its own miracles, its own beliefs in the supernatural, its own churches, its own high priests, its own saints, its own total worldview, and its own explanation of the existence of the universe. In other words, liberalism contains all the attributes of what is generally known as "religion."
I have devoured the first chapter already. You simply must own this book!
Hey Gully,
I'm a little surprised to hear your a fan of this author. I've personally relegated her to the same position/level as Pat Robertson. I really believe she is just a "flamethrower" who riles people up just for the purpose of riling people up (and to make money).
Check out this posting from Salon and be sure to link to the very articulate and level-headed response one of the 9/11 widows gave. I'd be interested to read what you think of the whole hullabaloo.

I think that while her style is truly bombastic, it is hard to argue with her use of facts and logic. I can run circles around Pat Robertson, even when I agree with him (as a conservative Christian, I agree with his premise most of the time, but cringe at his argument and delivery). But I challenge you to pick apart Ann's arguments without resorting to ad hominem attacks, pies in the face, profanity, or unsubstantiated paranoid conspiracy theories.
Plus, she's like totally hot. I am a guy, after all.

What exactly is appealing about her hate peddling? Havn't her recent TV interviews shown her to be the crank she is?

actually, if you saw her on Leno, she set the place on fire.
