Awesome girl.

We have had one of the best video rental shops ever here in McLean, VA. Unfortunatly, the owner has decided to retire and while he still owns the building, he is leasing the business to some idiot.

Rented The Searchers a couple of weeks ago and rewatched it the other night. When I returned it last night, I commented to the kid behind the counter - who is pretty knowledgable about movies - that they just released a new commemorative DVD of it. The new owner overheard this - picked it up - and said "The Searchers?" as if he had never heard of the movie.

In fact, he didn't. I said, "Yes, the greatest western ever made" and he looked at me with this towelheaded look of bewilderment and scorn (yes, he sold my video store to a fricken muslim terrorist) and said "I doubt that. I've never heard of it."

At which point the video store guy turns to him . . .with a look of shock, and says "they all flow from here."
